The Future Drought Fund’s second annual Science to Practice Forum is taking place from June 7 to 9, 2022, and you are encouraged to register now for this free event.
It will feature the activities of Australia’s eight Drought Resilience Adoption and Innovation Hubs and highlight innovative tools and practices that can help farmers and communities to better manage drought risks.
It’s a hybrid forum being conducted out of Canberra and livestreamed across Australia – giving you the flexibility to attend interactive online sessions or an in-person event in our Hub region.
The South-West WA Drought Hub will host an interactive viewing at the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) Merredin Dryland Research Institute on Tuesday, June 7, and Wednesday, June 8.
This will be followed by a field trip on Thursday, June 9, focusing on Merredin Research Facility trials relating to drought and systems resilience.
You can choose to attend one, two or all three days at Merredin – register via this link.
If you are unable to attend the in-person event at Merredin but wish to join the Forum online from your home or workplace, please register here.
The FDF Science to Practice Forum program, which features plenty of local content, is available here.
